The Albini AM/AS collection represents the rationalistic philosophy of the Milanese architect. A 1969 design that combines linear shapes with the extreme quality of materials, such as the hand-blown glass of diffusers. Owned by Federico Palazzari, Nemo creates “The Masters” collection, a unique selection of lamps designed by the masters of the twentieth century such as Le Corbusier, Charlotte Perriand, Vico Magistretti, Franco Albini and Kazuhide Takahama. Alongside these projects, Nemo also dedicates itself to the creation of contemporary icons by collaborating with designers including Mario Bellini, Jean Nouvel, Andrea Branzi, Bernhard Osann and Arihiro Miyake. Today Nemo Lighting, with headquarters in Milan and branches in France and the United States, has a distribution network in more than 40 countries.

After graduating with a degree in architecture from Milan Politecnico, Franco Albini straddled the fields of furniture, product design, architecture, urban planning, and interior design. While working under famed Italian designer Gio Ponti, Albini developed an appreciation for combinations of traditional craft techniques and modern forms.
