Mastering the art of Italian living, fine furniture maker Exteta works to elevate experiences for its clients with exquisite craftsmanship and expertly sourced materials. Creative director, Massimo Castagna offers an alternative perspective with unspoiled hybrid spaces, perfectly balanced interiors that seamlessly flow from inside to outside.
Artisans in Exteta’s workshop in Brianza, Italy, work to realise these visions. Each one frames picturesque landscapes across the globe: from yachts on the bluest waters, to enveloping Eden-like gardens. A key ingredient is the brand’s intimate connection with nature: in their pursuit of perfection these masters have understood the essence of their materials. With a palette of natural woods, precious stones, polished metals, and tactile fabrics they continue to create timeless works that live up to the illustrious moniker of ‘Made in Italy.’
Its impressive philosophy of design has enabled Exteta to collaborate with Italian design legends, including the likes of Gae Aulenti and Franco Albini. They continue to excite audiences across the globe, collaborating with modern Italian icons like Paola Navone and Ludovica + Roberto Palomba. For founders, Staffan & Monique Tollgård, the relaxed versatility and rich comfort of pieces like the Elba Sofa and Loro Piana St. Moritz chair make it hard not to fall in love with Exteta. Each of their works radiates an innate warmth and elegance: the culmination of innovative designers, meticulous makers and superior materials.
Arriving at the Tollgard Chelsea showroom in March, Exteta will be launched exclusively at London Design Week ‘23.
