Toshiyuki Kita
The Japanese designer Toshiyuki Kita studied industrial design at Naniwa College in Osaka until 1964. In 1967 he opened a design practice in Osaka but, two years later, in 1969, Toshiyuki Kita went to Milan to work in the practices of Mario Bellini and Silvio Coppola. In 1971 Toshiyuki Kita opened a branch of his own practice in Milan, and from then on commuted between Japan and Italy. Toshiyuki Kita's best known design is a piece of seat furniture, the "Wink" , which was produced by Cassina in 1980.
