Hans J. Wegner's GE430 bedside table was originally designed for a series of beds with round legs and headboards with horizontal bars for the company Ry Møbler. The bedside table therefore has round legs, which support a box, the top of which is provided with a protective edge at the back and sides.
The box itself has a compartment at the bottom for, for example, reading material and a flat drawer at the top with a nice little wooden handle for various personal items.

Getama is a Danish manufacturer of classic and contemporary furniture. Hans Wegner began working with Getama over 60 years ago and their collaboration provided for many classics that continue to be produced. The designs of Hans Wegner are highly appreciated for design, quality and durability and have become collector's items and best-sellers.
