Adnet Wall Mirror Rectangular
The Adnet Wall Mirror Rectangular originates from the partnership of the designer Jaques Adnet and a famous French fashion house in the 1950s. By applying the fashion house's knowledge and high quality of leather to Jacques Adnet's innovative thinking and design vision, the two parts created a series of remarkable interior designs. Among them were the Adnet Wall Mirror Rectangular a characteristic work of Adnet with its studded leather mirror and burnished brass rivets on the edges.
With its simplicity of design combined with the warmth of leather and finest detailing, the Adnet Wall Mirror Rectangular comes in three sizes and serves equally well in hallways, bathrooms and dressing rooms, either horizontal, vertical, mounted to the wall or leaned against it. It adds depth, reflects light, expands horizons and adds a magical allure.

DESIGNED BY
Jacques Adnet
Jacques Adnet (1900 - 1984) was a French architect and Art Deco Modernist designer and an icon of luxurious French Modernism. After completing his studies at the Municipal School of Design in Auxerre and the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs, Adnet established the company JJ Adnet with his twin brother Jean Adnet. In 1925, Jacques Adnet was recognized as one of the most promising young designers at both the Salon d'Automne and Les Expositions des Arts Decoratifs. As well as designing furniture and mirrors, Adnet designed apartments and offices for numerous clients, including French president Vincent Auriol and Unesco. Throughout his career, Adnet was always among the first artists to express new trends. As a true member of the avant-garde in his time, he was an innovative thinker and original in his choice of form and materials. He was among the first to integrate metal and glass in the structure and decoration of furniture and in the post-war period, Adnet began to cover his furniture with leather.
