Sophistication and craftsmanship come together to give life to a new sofa designed by Roberto Lazzeroni. Ares is a visually striking piece of furniture, ideal for those who desire refined and extremely elegant pieces. Characterised by an unusual style, Ares is defined as a sofa beyond conventions, where the significant height of the backrest, which envelops the seat with its curvilinear shape and lowers to form the armrest, gives the sofa a majestic appearance.
Available in multiple sizes such as 2 or 3-seater linear sofa, or in the modular version with different elements including chaise lounge modules, it stands out for the particular craftsmanship of the feet: like two long traverses, they run on the lower ends of each element, becoming a flat section when viewed laterally. Resting on a refined base made of thermotreated oak or stained ash wood, Ares combines rigid elements and significant padded cushions to skilfully blend comfort and functionality.

DESIGNED BY
Roberto Lazzeroni
Roberto Lazzeroni, born in Pisa, began his professional life with the study of art and architecture in Florence and the interests he developed during his training, in particular in the conceptual art and radical design movements. In the early 1980s, Lazzeroni made his professional debut with a series of important works in the field of “interior architecture” that immediately attracted attention and were published in Italian and foreign periodicals.
