Cast in a hand-modeled clay mould, it is the organic irregularities in shape, colour and texture that give this side table, ‘Charles’, its unique appeal.
See it and you will want to touch it, stroke it, feel the visible traces of the original artisan’s fingers, moulding the clay. Place your palm on its oval top, and you are touching hands with the craftsmen who made ‘Charles’. ‘Charles’ reaches out to you, quite literally, standing next to your sofa or armchair, handing you your glass of wine or your book.

Linteloo was founded by Dutch designer Jan te Lintelo in 1993, inspired by his own concept of ‘the feelgood factor’; sofas and chairs that were inherently comfortable and relaxed.
