Club 44 - Table 1957
Designed specifically for the project of a cultural club of the same name in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the table has never been, until now, put into production except for the small number manufactured for the swiss club in the heart of the country’s watchmaking district.
The Club 44 Table features a three piece construction where every element has been allowed to fully express its own characteristics and poetry: the massively stable bottom-heavy conical volume of the concrete base, the graphic surfacing of the marble countertop and the sleak and technical structural element in steel joining and distancing them, all contribute to the iconic presence of the table that announces many of recurring themes of Mangiarotti’s work.
