Don Giovanni is a system of seats and accessories (D.G. consolle and D.G. servetto) that suggests the idea of contemporary comfort, designed by Giuseppe Casarosa in 2019. Its simple lines and retro feel, as well as its formal elegance, make it the ideal piece of furniture for those who prefer a more classical living room. The vast range of terminal and angular units, chaise longue and poufs (along with two different depthsfor some elements) allows various solutions.
Strength and durability are guaranteed by the solid American walnut base and the inner poplar plywood frame. This is reinforced with thick structural steel. The expertise of Ceccotti Collezioni can be seen in its truly unique design and production culture. The product is finished with a rubber seat with down top layer, and virgin down and rhombo-fé cushions, which guarantee total relaxation. The brass feet add a touch of modernity to the sofa. Sophisticated excellence also in the upholstery, characterised by sartorial details that follow the profiles of the cover.

Strongly committed to sustainability, Ceccotti only works with suppliers that have obtained environmental certification such as membership of the SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) or FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).Based in a small Italian town nestled between Pisa and Florence, the Ceccotti workshops draw the most skilled artisans from the local ‘School of Art’ and hone their craft. Ceccotti Collezioni creates exquisitely made beds, tables, chairs, desks, shelving and lighting that is unmistakably special and is the definition of luxury Italian furniture.The Tollgards are fortunate to have known Franco Ceccotti, a true visionary artisan, for the past decade, and operate the Ceccotti Showroom in the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour in London.

Giuseppe Casarosa
Giuseppe Casarosa, Pisa in 1957. Graduated at ISIA in 1980 and continued his studies at the International University of Art in Florence. Interested in applied technologies and projects at 360 degrees; he designed boats, greenhouses for seasonal crops, machines for computing centers, small home appliances and of course furniture. Periodically he is called to take lessons in design schools. In 2008, a reflection on consumerism and sustainability brings him to stop the profession. He retires and lives on a boat for two years. In 2011, he is the founder and member of “Superevo” newco, manufacturer of innovative structures for upholstered items and supplies the most important brands of furniture. He currently lives between Cascina and Island of Capraia in Tuscany.
