Eileen, the new armchair designed by DRAW Studio, draws inspiration from the work of Irish architect and designer Eileen Gray.
The supporting frame is reinforced by slanting oval section stay-rods which make the wood flex, as if it were a crossbow suspending the upholstered seat, while its surfaces are embellished by refined wood finishes – in solid walnut or ash – and by solid brass trims.
A sweeping curve extends from the foot to the armrest to outline a fluid upward movement, an iconic and unmistakable graphic stroke.

Luca and Mattia graduated in 2005 in industrial design at Politecnico di Milano, but only met in 2008. At that time, they were working in Milan in the same project team, and they had the opportunity to exchange views and ideas on product design, immediately perceiving a strong synergy and gradually establishing a deep friendship beyond the professional activity.
