Favn
Derived from the Danish term for ’embrace’, the Favn™ sofa is a design collaboration between designer Jaime Hayon and Fritz Hansen. Its open and rounded curves are intended to appeal and invite – the perfect setting for relaxation, work and everything in-between.
Combining a mixture of three textiles with playful detailing including round buttons and delicate legs, the Favn sofa embodies Jaime Hayon’s imaginative aesthetic with thoughtful detail.

DESIGNED BY
Jaime Hayon
Spanish artist-designer Jaime Hayon was born in Madrid in 1974. His artistic vision was first fully exposed in the ‘Mediterranean Digital Baroque’ and ‘Mon Cirque’ installations. These collections put Jaime at the forefront of a new wave that blurred the lines between art, decoration and design, also added a renaissance in finely-crafted, intricate objects within the context of contemporary design culture.
