A timeless piece for moments of relaxation, Icolounge was designed by Roberto Lazzeroni in 2020 and combines a moderately sized frame made from solid American walnut with a comfortable, extra-deep elliptical seat made from upholstered poplar plywood. The slim backrest fully embraces anyone sitting in this chair, curving round to provide an armrest.

Grand Diner
Opening up to experimentation means accepting new challenges, like that connected with the design of the Grand Dîner, product of the creative mind of Giuseppe Casarosa in 2017. The table, in its round version, has a walnut, ebony or marble top, but is also available in a rectangular version with walnut or ebony top. The design goal was to interpret the material, eliminating the problems connected with the immobility and monumental effect with which it is inevitably associated. The solution for the round table was to divide the top into four sections, inserting a cross-shaped inlay in American walnut.
This made it possible to lighten its unwieldy appearance, in the case of the marble top, and to create an original design from its veining, in the case of the wooden top. The base, designed with a dynamic silhouette that finishes with the brass feet, helps to lighten the overall effect of the table. The result is a dining table with an exclusive design, the undisputed focal point of the most important social occasions. The round version can also be accessorised with a wooden Lazy Susan with walnut or ebony finish. The project of Grand Dîner inspired the birth of another product: the Petit Dîner [https://www.ceccotticollezioni.it/en/products/petit-diner/].

DESIGNED BY
Giuseppe Casarosa
Giuseppe Casarosa, Pisa in 1957. Graduated at ISIA in 1980 and continued his studies at the International University of Art in Florence. Interested in applied technologies and projects at 360 degrees; he designed boats, greenhouses for seasonal crops, machines for computing centers, small home appliances and of course furniture. Periodically he is called to take lessons in design schools. In 2008, a reflection on consumerism and sustainability brings him to stop the profession. He retires and lives on a boat for two years. In 2011, he is the founder and member of “Superevo” newco, manufacturer of innovative structures for upholstered items and supplies the most important brands of furniture. He currently lives between Cascina and Island of Capraia in Tuscany.
