Ico Vis à Vis originates from Roberto Lazzeroni’s idea of pairing two Icolounge armchairs to create a two-seater sofa for intimate conversations: its shape allows those sitting to face each other and converse easily.
The sofa has a structure in solid American walnut and is characterized by an “S”-shaped upholstered backrest which entirely envelops the figure of the occupant before extending to become an armrest. Thanks to its informal and extremely comfortable seat, Ico Vis a Vis offers an ideal solution for public spaces such as hotel lobbies, lounge areas and boutiques.

Strongly committed to sustainability, Ceccotti only works with suppliers that have obtained environmental certification such as membership of the SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) or FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).Based in a small Italian town nestled between Pisa and Florence, the Ceccotti workshops draw the most skilled artisans from the local ‘School of Art’ and hone their craft. Ceccotti Collezioni creates exquisitely made beds, tables, chairs, desks, shelving and lighting that is unmistakably special and is the definition of luxury Italian furniture. The Tollgards are fortunate to have known Franco Ceccotti, a true visionary artisan, for the past decade, and operate the Ceccotti Showroom in the Design Centre, Chelsea Harbour in London.

DESIGNED BY
Roberto Lazzeroni
Roberto Lazzeroni, born in Pisa, began his professional life with the study of art and architecture in Florence and the interests he developed during his training, in particular in the conceptual art and radical design movements. In the early 1980s, Lazzeroni made his professional debut with a series of important works in the field of “interior architecture” that immediately attracted attention and were published in Italian and foreign periodicals.
