The On the road bench isn’t interested in anything showy or superfluous. It presents itself just as it is: a natural, unassuming bench, inspired by a long motorcycle trip on Route 66.
The two straps that stretch from the feet to keep the cushion in place give it a special touch without altering its simple character.
Its design and look say it all: simplicity, comfort and a friendly, unassuming personality. It doesn’t want to be the centre of attention but it doesn’t hide away either.

Cutu Mazuelos and Eva Prego create the studio in 1995, recent graduates in Design, to be able to develop their ideas for furniture and interior design without filter nor concessions. They take the most difficult route, something that has characterized them from the start and that seems a natural consequence of their vital and enthusiastic character. Without letting maturity eclipse their dreams, Stone Designs has managed to position itself as a studio of designers with an unmistakeable voice.
