The Circle Bar Chair is the final piece in the Circle Collection. It comes in two heights, suitable for either kitchen/counter height or a bar height and with optional armrest. The Circle Bar Chair comes fully upholstered in a broad selection of fabric or leather. The base is in solid wood and the fittings and footrest come in a selection of four different finishes.
From ancient mathematicians like Euclid, to Leonardo da Vinci, to Denmark’s own Hans J. Wegner, the circle has always fascinated dreamers and makers. As a symbol of beauty and balance, the “perfect geometry” of the circle has inspired the curiosity and creativity of architects and astronomers, philosophers, and physicists. Continuing in this tradition, the inspiration for our Circle Collection, was guided by the graceful arcs and inviting curves of the circle’s elegant simplicity.

DESIGNED BY
Jasper Overgaard & Christian Dyrman
After meeting at Aalborg University in 2005, Jasper Overgaard and Christian Dyrman began working on several student projects together. Three years later, and with a Bachelor of Science on their CVs, they both moved to Copenhagen and started at The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design & Conservation, from where they graduated in January 2011 with a Master of Furniture and Spatial Design. What started as a friendship between two classmates, grew into a collaborative partnership. The studies became a playground for exploring crafts, to gain comprehensive knowledge about materials and technologies, and to evolve individual and collaborative skills. Those years undoubtedly set the foundation for what would later become Overgaard & Dyrman.
