Skandinavia KVT6 is a stackable solid wood chair developed for active use in public environments. The chair has a clean, timeless silhouette, and its slightly tilted backrest provides a comfortable sitting position. The chair can be equipped with a linking device and an acoustic plate underneath the seat. Also available with an upholstered seat and a paint finish of your choice.
Designed by master cabinetmaker Kari Virtanen, the Skandinavia chairs were created specifically for heavy commercial use and thus made as durable as possible. At the same time, the chairs pay respect to the traditions of Nordic cabinetmaking. The refined design makes them well suited for a range of spaces and styles.

DESIGNED BY
Kari Virtanen
Kari Virtanen has been involved with the design and construction of furniture since the age of 14 years old. Beginning as an apprentice to a carpenter, he later founded his own workshop at the age of 19, working with some of Finland's biggest designers such as Alvar Aalto and Kaj Franck. Virtanen's workshop became Nikari, one of Finland's highly respected furniture manufacturers. Based in the village of Fiskars, the factory is Finland's oldest furniture manufacturing plant, a suitable location both for Nikari's longstanding reputation, and Kari Virtanen's ethos of high-quality furniture that is built to last.
