Terence Woodgate initially trained as a design engineer, however, fascination with purer forms of design led to a decision in the mid-80s to retrain as a furniture designer at the London Guildhall University. As one of the UK’s most respected designers, Terence has become known for a modern and elegant design approach with an obsessive attention to detail and workmanship. He was awarded Royal Designer for Industry (RDI) in 2003 and has received several international design awards, including the Red Dot “Best of the Best” category, and the IF Ecology Award.
