Small cabinets with interior fittings are specifically designed to hold useful objects for the tea ceremony, such as pottery sets, cups and teapots, and to collect and show various essences of tea. The cabinet consists of an American walnut base, available in all the colours in the price list, characterised by an X-shaped mark supporting a container with hinged doors constructed entirely from traditional cabinet-making elements.
The hinges, in burnished solid brass; were designed and made especially for this object. Once opened, the cabinet has eight small shelves fixed to the doors that house small removable solid wood boxes fixed by magnets, useful for storing cups and containers with tea essences caps. In the upper inner part there is a shelf divided into three parts to hold teapots and cups, in the lower part a chest of drawers with two drawers, a pull-out tray for serving and a further shelf.
