Tectra 2
Tectra 2 is composed of two “Tectonic” plates that interlock and merge as one organic form. The elements can be separated and float apart as they would in nature, the design captures and conveys our shifting world at a macro level.
Marble is the ideal material to convey the concept of flux. Marble is a metamorphic rock, produced by other rock types forming interlocking crystals, so what appears as solid and static about marble is actually not, echoing Tectra 2’s two individual parts which when combined like interlocking crystals or pieces of a puzzle form something larger than the sum of its parts.

DESIGNED BY
Adam Court
All OKHA furniture collections and limited editions are designed by Creative Director, ADAM COURT. His process is intuitive, beginning as a hand drawn sketch, often influenced by geographic physicality and a sense of place. This flow progresses via provocative dialogues; sculptural, stylistic, constructivist, emotional and visual; arriving at a design which is the resonance of natural materials and the desire to gracefully hold space. Court ultimately engages the user via an emotionally articulate, scenic silhouette.
