BOMMA: crafting beauty, one light at a time

Where the synergy of design and craftsmanship evokes emotion, delight and beauty: transforming spaces into captivating realms of inspiration.

BOMMA transforms interiors with handcrafted sculptural lighting that creates a distinct mood in each space – from eye-catching centerpieces and installations to soft ambient light. The company is renowned for its signature design that creates a sense of grace and delight. This minimalist, yet daring, aesthetic is appreciated by international architects and interior designers and has quickly gained recognition in the design world.

We are so proud to bring BOMMA into our collection of brands at Tollgard.

A Sneak Peak

Pebbles

Pebbles from Czech glassmaker Bomma promote playful exploration. Just as with stones, the crystal components of the Pebbles Collection are absolute originals, thanks to Bomma’s signature hand-blowing technique. String the colorful shapes onto its inner light source as you wish and create elegant objects that transform into artworks in any interior. Dare to go bold!

Divina

Designed for Bomma by DECHEM Studio, Divina is unique – artistically poetic, as well as strictly minimalistic. Its refined colour gradients lend it an aura of timeless dreaminess, while remaining visually striking.

Dew Drops

The Dew Drops Collection, by Boris Klimek, captures nature’s ephemeral beauty with iridescence. Each piece mirrors morning dew on grass blades, illuminated from within, creating unique aesthetics. Versatile installations allow creativity, forming captivating centerpieces. Like Klimek’s Pebbles Collection, Dew Drops embody nature’s magic with grace.

Phenomena

The Phenomena Collection, envisioned by DECHEM Studio, embodies Plato’s philosophy on transient existence. Hand-blown into bespoke forms, these glass lighting fixtures juxtapose the material’s rigidity and fragility, echoing life’s contradictions. Available as pendants or floor and table lamps, they epitomize DECHEM Studio’s artistry, harmonizing form and function in a captivating exploration of phenomena.

The Tollgard Brand Book: A New Edition Awaits!

Collected within these pages are some of the most dedicated, passionate and talented makers working in the world of furniture today. Edition 2 brings even more new and exciting additions.

Before furniture was mass-produced, the hand of the maker was always visible. At Tollgard we have always been fascinated by stories —by the artists and craftspeople behind the pieces and brands. Our search to bring them together has been going on for more than fifteen years. The red thread —the creative DNA —that binds these makers from more than a dozen countries is the value they place on how things are made, the questions of living that they answer, and the honesty of their ingredients. The result: pieces that engage and endure. Stories that intrigue.

The celebration of the handmade across all corners of the globe has utterly captivated us. Beautifully functional design and the hand-working of metal, leather and wood have created its own language reminiscent of the principles of mid-century modern: less is more, honesty in manufacturing techniques and truth to materials. From Ceccotti Collezioni, Overgaard & Dyrman and Van Rossum on our European shores; to the East Coast heroes found at BassamFellows, Token, Skram, Juniper and RBW; to the South African artisans at Indigenus and Okha – we see a richness and a rawness that makes it hard to look away.

Welcome to our Brand Book. We are so proud to bring this collection to you.
